You should have a 20-50 gallon tank with a heat source, source of ultraviolet light, and at least 50% humidity. Also make sure to keep the tank temp between 75 and 80 degrees. Give it a place to hide and a shallow water dish big enough to climb into. Box turtles are fairly omnivorous -- you can try feeding canned dog food, a mixture of dark leafy greens, and maybe some insects. Supplement with a multivitamin for reptiles. Go to the library or online for more info.

Either a big fish tank and they sell turtle food at any wal*mart you go to in the fish tank put some rocks and make sure there is some water for them it can get into but it needs land to. The food you get should almost look like vermicelli, but a little thicker. Or you could let it go by the nearest pond.

Go to this website for the info - you have to page down a bit -they're listed with the tortoises because they are mo e of a land anmal than an aquatic. There are different species of boxes, so look at the care info that pertains to the one you have. http://www.austinsturtlepage.com/Care/1caresheets.htm
