I personally prefer women who are relatively shy AND confident. The women who express themselves entirely too openly and let everyone know how they feel, what they want, etc. is not the kind of woman I like. For that aspect, I prefer a shy woman which will tell a few select people about her life, what she is going through, etc. Being confident is a must if you wish for a healthy relationship otherwise it will not grow properly and problems will arise. Not everyone is perfectly confident, but having a good base is required. Women who aren't confident are generally clingy and possessive and I've personally had my share of those.

A little of both. Speaking for myself.
I don't like over confidence in women its like "We are beautiful and we know it!"
I Prefer a woman who is couscous about the way she dresses and acts in front of men.
It really depends on what you want?
If you just want to pull - be over confident.
If you want a relationship - you have to show your potential guy that you are not going to be flirty with other men once he has you.
The same applies to men! How many women get stressed when they see their man look at or flirt with another woman?

If I were a man I would want one that was confident any man that would like shy would probably just want them that way so they could run all over them.....Some men fear confident women

Whan a lady is confident she can be ambitious, when she is shy you are pretty much wondering why you didn't marry the confident one!

well for me i like confident guys..i caint stand for them to be cocky tho. im engaged to a guy that is confident and he LOVES a girl thats confident. he's not really into the shy ones.

Agreed...confident but not overly so. A little humility is more attractive. We are all only human, after all! (This applies to either sex).
