For Spanish music, many people would say the typical reggaeton nowadays like Daddy Yankee, Pitbull, and Shakira. But I'm leaning toward the more authentic, underground stuff, like the Gipsy Kings, Celia Cruz, and Carlos Santana (one of the best guitarists; listen to Samba Pa Ti if you don't believe me :). Even Julieta Venegas who is relatively new to the music scene ia a good choice, because she's quite refeshing since she plays the guitar herself and doesn't shake her hips half-naked in her music videos. Also try Paulina Rubio once again, a newbie, but has an awesome voice. But that's just me.

If you go to Spain I'm sure there is some good stuff over there. Fans of Spanish music don't have to find it. You should already know where to find it.

Anything by Selena, Mana, the Buena Vista Social Club, and Celia Cruz. Ruben Blades is also very good.
