If this worries you enough to post your question here, you should see a doctor or at least, your school nurse.
As well you know, skin cancer is nothing to fool around with and the longer you wait the worse it will become.
Of course, you could be freaking out about nothing but if you find out for sure from a person who really knows, wouldn't that make you feel better? And if it is cancer, and I hope that it isn't, the sooner you get it treated the better off you will be.
This can't be a "Wait and see" kind of thing. Act now. Talk to your dad He's had it three times so he should understand how stressed out you are about it. But talk to someone (over 18 who knows stuff) Okay?
Good luck to you. :)

DO NOT APPLY any medications on that spot if you are not sure what disease it is. Do not scratch for it will cause irritations and will result to a more dangerous case. Let a doctor examine it first. Let your parents know. Tell how you feel for the past few days to your parents - that is ideally a good way of knowing its symptoms.

don't say the "c" word unless you have to, and don't lose hope.
it could be anything, you could have a worm just go to the doctor. or if you can't wait that long, pour peroxide over it and see if it reacts (i think this is just an old wives tell, it probably has no merit) the doctor is the only way to know for sure. also if it is the "c" word rest assured that it is not quite as likely to be as detrimental as other types of cancer.

GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP. It may be cancer, or may be a protein growth....but with your family history of skin cancer you don't need to play around with it

It might be a abnormal mole or the start of melanoma. Go get it examined by a dermatologist soon.

I would go talk with your parents & have them take you to your doc. for a check-up. This is the only way you will find out what it is, so that you will stop worrying about it.

Tell your parent how you feel. You need medical care to decide if you have skin cancer or not. we are not doctors and neither are you. please let the professionals decide what to do with it, thats is what they are paid for.
