Portillos on Ontario across from the Rock n Roll McDonalds.
5 Faces on Dearborn and Division. That's the best dog you'll find, dude. GO GO GO.

Try Murphys Dogs on Belmont, it is near Southport and Belmont if I am not mistaken.
For Kitsch factor I would recommend SuperDawg
and for the most popular or easiest to locate I would settle for Portillos!

There is a hot dog stand at 51st and Kedzie, the owners only come out weather permitting.. those hot dogs are the best. Clean, good and NOT expensive at all. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!

You can go to Nicky's on 5700 S. Kedzie. They have pretty good fast food and tables to sit at. Nicky's has been there over 49 yrs with the same owner.

portillo's. sterted in villa park il. it has branced out quite a bit. there is at least one in the downtown area.
chicago dog has-mustard,relish,onion,tomatoe,cucumber,dill pickle,sport peppers and celery salt.

superdawg or gene and jude's. gene and jude's is by kiddie land in melrose park. 2724 N. River Road, River Grove, IL
we live in joliet and will drive over an hour for gene and jude's just to cure our cravings.
