I know how you feel. I was born with a few freckles and throughout the years a few turned into many. What I used is CoverGirl foundation, and then CoverGirl Outlast Powder.

Don't put a lot on though, because it can look face. The good thing about the CoverGirl Outlast is that it really DOES stay on all day and it covers really well without looking pasty or like a mask.

You could also try for something permanent like lightening them with lemon juice, or with a professional cream/lotion that has lightening agents.

Almost all my friends were surprised when they found out that i had freckles and that I covered them up because the makeup I use looks so natural.

This has worked for me so far, so i hope it works for you!!
Best of luck!!

I think freckles are cute and make the person look very healthy and sun-kissed! But you're the one wearing them, and sounds like you're not as enamored of 'em as I am. Anyway, there's not much you can do, except wear strong coverage foundation. You can try Dermablend. It covers even tattoos, but it's very thick and heavy. You'd have to get it at a specialty makeup place, it's really not a department store item. Or maybe on-line. The hard part will be determining what shade you should wear without an expert with you. In the meantime, use sunscreen so the freckles don't get any darker, and why not play up your lips or eyes to take focus away from the freckles

Short-term you could cover them up with matted cosmetic products but why not get rid of them? Try using creams/lotions which has "lightening agents" (most of these products will have the word "whitening" on their label), use them at night and minimise Sun exposure during treatment period - usually you can see results in a couple of weeks. Then use a reliable matted sunscreen when you go out in the Sun -this will minimise the re-appearance of freckles.

Freckles are really cute, especially when a person knows how to show them off. Don't cover them up, be proud of them, try light make up for a more natural look and learn to appreciate them

supposedly lemon juice will bleach and fade them. or you could try a good concealer. a good one will cost you about $20-$30 at the department stores, but you can get help from one of the cosmetic salespeople and they can help you find the right shade and how to use it to cover your freckles. if you are spending that much money on it, you will want to make sure it works and you are using it properly. i used to have that problem with my foundation until i went to the Clinique counter at my local Elder-Beermans store and i spend $30 on a 2 oz. bottle of liquid foundation but it was the best stuff i have ever used.

There is an Avon cream that fades freckles and brown spots.

using that and some foundation should reduce their appearance!

Try putting on a bronzer on top of your foundation. Or try a concealer. I think freckles are cute though :)

if foundation doesn't work there's not really any way to get rid of them. learn to like them.
