Earlier this evening, I pounced on my husband and asked him if he wanted to make love but he said he wasn't in the mood. We have been married for a year now - is that bad for a man to turn down sex? I probably shouldn't even sweat it huh? lol

On a side note, I am fit/slim, pretty (atleast I think I am ..lol) and I am not a ****** type.

Most men & women are ready to accomodate their mates
whenever the other wants sex but sometimes for various legitimate
reasons, one party just isn't in the mood or is too tired, depressed,
busy or stressed out...

It could be he is repeating what you say all the time to him when you are not in the mood.

If he is not in the mood, then you make him in that mood by seducing him instead. You will see that he will change his mind pretty quick! But, if he still rejects you, then he must be really tired from a long day of work. Yeah, don't sweat it, there will be other nights!

1. Communication is the key here. If there's reason that he gives that makes sense, like (tired, he feels performed bad last time for you, and embarrassed, it doesn't want to work, etc.) ask if he minds getting help? And, definitely support him!

2. If you don't get an answer that makes sense (he is your husband, trust your gut) it may be that he met/talking to another, or worse, cheating and telling her that he doesn't "sleep" with you. Men seem to do this! People always try to blame affairs on a "bad marriage" so, is trying to make one?

PS
My sister had this happen to her!
She is hot and said what you did, "no naggin".
She said they're sexual life went from "extremely intense, to non existent".
He stopped falling asleep in the usual position (holding each other), then "accidental" falling asleep on couch and not coming to bed.
Finally, she found out that he was calling and starting to see his ex. that doesn't hold a torch to my sister in the looks dept!
Unbelievable, later, after my sister had left about a yr. later,he had the nerve to call my sister complaining about how unhappy he was with the ex!
The selfish idiot lost them both! Forever!

But, this does not mean that you are in this situation of course!
You just need to start by talking to him, Good luck to you!

If he married you, it shouldn't make a difference whether you're fit, slim, pretty, etc. You're his wife.

It's nothing to sweat just because it happened once. There are plenty of reasons to turn it down. One is that turning it down seems to make women more willing to go at it next time. They aren't used to rejection, so they want it more.

Or all the other reasons in the world could suffice too. If it happens every night for a month, feel free to freak out.

When the relationship gets comfortible is the best part. Bieng raised by what you see on tv is not real. Its media using tactics that hit emotions to get ratings. Understand that if your husband is tired that is exactly what it is. Silly. dont stress because of what has been impressed on you. Happy presidents day kid. Just enjoy sitting next to him. I say kid to everyone Im not old just have a strange mental thing. Maybe a few thousand year old mental pattern Tee, Hee. Enjoy your husband, that is why you chose to marry him. Not sex.

It happens, men also can not be in the mood, some times is better to seduce them than just point blank ask them you know? if you seduce him he'd be in the mood, if he's thinking of something else or worried about something and you just ask him then he might not be in the mood, but you can make him be in the mood.

Part of any healthy marriage is the right of refusal for sex. Even guys have moments when we are not in the mood. No you should not sweat this. It is normal.

I am sure there will be days..when you turn him down..that does not mean..something bad is going on..does not mean you are not attracted to him..maybe he was tired..worn out..or..had a bad day at work..whatever the reason..i am sure he will make it up too you..so yeah you are right..you shouldn't even sweat it..you are reading way too much into it..

maybe it was the way you asked. If you came off wrong then you didnt give hime a chance to get started. Next time try the school girl route or something softer than jumping him guys like to feel in charge sad to say I thought all women knew how to manipulate a guy. Dont give up just regroup and next time dont ask js\ust pull it out and get busy.

Sometimes men don't want sex

Don't pounce but seduce

A gentle touch of a woman works better than a manly prison shower attack
