i used to be pretty good at bulleting a football for 30-40 yards, which was in september this year and before. the problem is, after i throw about 10 of those long distance bullets, i get an irritated rotator cuff. last time it was a little bit torn (my rotator cuff). now its been around half a year and im back to throwing again but i cant seem to get a bullet. all i get is kind of weak spirals. what should i do?

THROW HARDER AND USE YOUR RISK, MAKE SHO U STEP INTO THE THROW AND BEFORE THROWING, YOUR ARM GOES BACK JUS SLIGHTLY OVA THE SHOULDER AND WEN U REALEASE IT GOES FORWARD A LITTLE HIGHER OVER THE SHOULDER AND YOUR HAND RELEASE MUST BE ACCURATE.

Start with Physical Therapy and start vital core excercises on the shoulder and it's associated anatomy. Ice it after every practice if 25 or more balls are thrown (any type of throwing) and ice it 4 times a day for 20 minutes per icing. This will help with swelling and pain. (see www.coldone.com for the best shoulder compression/icing support) Make sure to do PROPER stretching and use resistance bands for pulls and rotations. Also work on the elbow as there is substantial underlying trauma with throwing. Good Luck!!

I would have my Throwing arm looked at by a sports medical specialist. Barring that, you don't tell us key factors for us to base our answers on. A) how old are you? B) are you playing QB in organized football? C) is your Arm still irritated?
Also,..how are you gripping the ball? last three fingers across the laces and Thumb and forefinger at right angles?? that is proper grip.
