Premarital sex means sex before marriage. For any woman able to conceive a child, the risks of being a single parent are the greatest danger to the mother and the greatest danger to the child born out-of-wedlock. The biological father usually gets off Scot free, even if the child is very sickly. As in the case in Maryland where the now 23-year old adult, born illegitimately with a very wealthy father, suffers from a very debilitating disease. He refuses to help and refuses to take a paternity test. But, the State law says paternity support ends at age 18 even though maternity lasts forever. That's very risky for the mother for just a few minutes of premarital sex.
Advantages? No commitments for the man; the laws are on his side if he runs and hides.

The Advantage of Pre-Marital Sex in my opinion is that since it is the ultimate act of Love in a relationship and an important dynamic of a relationship, it gives both the chance to not only see the compatibility in this area, but, it also helps indicate and demostrate their feelings physically within a relationship. If it is done within the realms of a relationship, it should be considered as Love Making.

However; if having sex solely without a meaningful relationship, then it's not as important and doesn't have the same meaning. Too many people have sex way to soon before they have an emotional connection and many base the state of their relationship on how things are going in the bedroom which is a major mistake.

Since there are so many facets to having a good relationship besides sex, people tend not to put as much effort or importance into the dynamics of communication, together time, harmony, mutual and reciprocated humor, problem solving, finances, and many other areas. A one-dimensional relationship based on sex leaves both people feeling the many other things missing.

Of course as some have metioned, if there is a strong religious component on either's part, pre-marital sex can be a downfall.

However; in our modern society where it is accepted, premarital sex is very important just as I think two people living together is. This is a trial run to see how both would function under the ties of matrimony.

It is important to not only know how your prospective mate will perform or be before marriage, but, also is a great level of measure to see where and how you will be and fit in also.

Since marriage is a big step and too many people don't take it seriously enough, it's better for people to find out if the important dynamics are in place first. If they aren't, it give people a chance to make things better and more healthy before taking the plunge.

You have your own rules, and it's important that you follow your own standards and be okay with them. Afterall, it's you and your partner that is going to be in a relationship for hopefully a very long and blissful and rewarding time. You might as well make sure everything is just right so you have no regrets after the fact.

Well, if you are religious, it's a bad thing (I don't need to elaborate here; BTW I'm not religious).

If your not religious, it still can be a bad thing, because I've known couples that have gotten married and regretted every experience they've had with someone else and wish they had saved themselves for their spouses. Sex is supposed to be the most powerful way to share affection and they were telling me that saving themselves for the person they married only makes it better and more special when the couple finally does each other. Oh, and I guess you also increase your risk of STD and stuff like that if you have multiple partners, but anyway, that's my take.

Long story short, it's up you.

ummmm, information?

all i can tell you is that premarital sex is not some major sin and a super bad thing, you just get to see what the other person is like before you marry them, if you wait till you are married then you better hope there are no major surprises that could be a dealbreaker for you

You want to get more specific about what you are looking for in your answer. Are you a virgin, perhaps religiously raised in a tradition that says no sex before marriage, but you are questioning this? Or perhaps you have not met anyone until now that you wanted to have sex with, and you are wondering what will happen if you do?

If you refine the q a little bit you might give people more amno to work with.

The only info I can give you is like this. If you are going to buy a Car you always " Road test" the Car before you commit to buying it and investing your money. Premarital sex is like that. You can see if you want to invest your emotions and time in this person. You may want to practice birth control in case thing don't work out and a baby would complicate a bad situation even more so. Good luck.

The big advantage is learning if there is real compatibility. No way in hell I would enter into a marriage again with having sex first.

One advantage is that you can find out whether the two of you will be compatible in bed, if you enjoy the same things sexually.

Ummm, how about the fact that it is breaking God's law in the Bible, you can't trust your partner afterwards, the relationship isn't secure anymore, you'll feel dirty, STDs, pregnancy, broken hearts, drama...

Basically, stay away from it. You won't regret it!!!
;)
