It may take a little while to get over the shock of the disappointment, that's natural. However, it's what you do down the line that counts. Did you learn from your mistake? Have you become a better/stronger person because of it? Did it do you more great things then harm? Initially, we all think something is pretty bad when it happens, but once the smoke clears and we really think about it, perhaps it's a life lesson we needed to learn. And one we never have to repeat. We've all had our struggles, but it's the keep coming back and doing better that really counts. Life is always going to be an uphill battle no matter what. It's how you deal with it that makes it easier/harder for yourself.

i usually bounce back with enthusiasm...i used to be much more negative. the older i get, the more positive i get.
i take care of my younger sister who has cancer...she can hurt my feelings on a daily basis because she's so angry... i move forward by knowing that she is in a horrible position,(she's terminal) while i have relatively small problems. when i can't take any more from her, i get support from another of my sisters.

I might lie there in pain for a moment and mutter an "ouch" but I've been there so many times it just doesn't phase me anymore. My best friend says I'm like a cat with 9 lives. MEOW!!!!!!

Moving forward now.....
