resilient than you think? What have you said you could never get through only to find yourself surviving it, and even thriving afterward?

OMFG, have you been reading my private journals?! ;-)
Yes, and I have always thought of myself as pretty resilient, until my mother reduced me to tears one day, telling me that she thought I was fragile, and could never make it on my own. At that moment, I believed her, too.
But I've been through a lot in the last three months, that I'm proud to say, by the Grace Of God, I seem to be handling it on my own, stepping up to the plate, owning my mistakes, and doing what I need to do, to make things right.
I still have some self-doubts, but somehow, "somebody up there", seems to be walking me through it all, as gracefully and gently as possible.

yeah I am... my best friend told me I was stronger than I thought I was and she was right, in the last 3 years I have left school due to abusive people, pushed 98% of my friends away while I was in a depression (a mistake which I regret veryday) I was cutting the works wish I was never born, then I got kicked out of home when I was 16 due to a family member lying about me to my family, I work in a job where I get treated like **** everyday, I finnaly found happiness with a guy just to have him leave for the US army, and my best friend has cancer.... But, I am generally happy, because I realized its all about how you look at things and your attitude controls your life, not your circumstances
