yes they are little people with not enough growth hormone. Sometimes they can reverse this if caught soon enough same thing with giganticism the pituitary gland doesn't put out enough hormone to make the body grow the way it is suppose to or too much and the person grows too tall and big. These are life threatning conditions sometimes. Many dwarfs have some children that are normal size and some that are dwarfs. It is a gentically transmitted trait. Pituitary tumors can cause giganticism and may cause dwarfism.

The are people who have a genetic marker that gives them the characteristics of a dwarf. There are a variety of types of dwarfs.......aka genetic reasons for being short and or small bodied

Yes. They are for a very small people. Also called little people. They have stunted growth issues but they are still people.
