People who say that are full of it. Whether your are circumcised or not, a dirty person is still dirty. Just wash every day and you'll be fine. People who think un-circumcised men should carefully wash or perform some weird rituals don't know anything, they suffer from being deluded by the circumcision-gestapo.

I mean really, you shower, get soap, wash schlong, pull back skin and wash schlong some more. No need to be careful, it's not like it's going to fall off or anything.

Considering that you seem very clean in general, I would thank the lucky stars that I was never mutilated because that skin is there for a reason.

Many Americans say that because they've never dealt with a foreskin, and so have misconceptions about it. Everything potentially negative about having a foreskin is blown like a thousand times out of proportion.

An uncircumcised penis is not dirty or even dirtier if kept clean properly (and it's really not hard, as most guys with foreskin can attest). If yours doesn't have a smell or feel/look dirty, it probably isn't. As long as you pull back the foreskin and wash underneath it daily with water and mild soap during a shower, that should be all that's needed. Some guys also like to pull back their foreskins while they pee, to further reduce any smell that might develop.

So, there's really nothing wrong with having a foreskin if a guy takes care of himself (and again, it's pretty easy). Prove those misconceptions wrong.

Yes, an uncircumcised man has to take a wee bit more time daily to wash his organ after pulling back the foreskin, to clear the accumulated smegma that would start smelling if not cleaned daily. This is a ritual that becomes a norm if only men are conscious of the need to keep the area clean. It may be due to lack of education or laziness that men don't clean this part every day.
Don't men brush their teeth when they get up after sleep (to control bad breath), wash their bodies during shower to remove sweat odor, and clean their noses, ears and eyes to remove body secretions and accumulated dirt? The same way they need to clean their penises too, and that too at least once a day.
Barring this, unless there is a real medical need for it, circumcision is an avoidable operation. One can refer to restoringmen.com for details of the advantages of not circumcising.
Women too need to clean their vaginae daily as that part also has natural secretions that would smell if not cleaned. Nature has thus treated men and women equally in this respect!
There is no proved research to show that clean, uncircumcised men have greater chances of contracting diseases than circumscribed men.

Not to worry Taylor;
There are plenty of us uncircumcised men living and thriving in the U.S., and it's all good.
I see it this way, people are not very smart as a whole.....a person might be smart.......but people in general can be convinced that the moon is made of cheese if you tell them enough times. Taking that into consideration, it's not too hard to understand how people can be convinced that being uncircumcised is something so dreadful, hideous and potentially life-threatening. You see, for the most part, Circumcision is a practice that has been accepted as the norm in the United States.......same as for the Jews and the Muslims. Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong either way....whether you are circumcised or uncircumcised; as long as you are healthy, clean and know how to use it well. Unfortunately, there are those who will go to great lengths to try to convince you that being one way or the other is the better of the two......because of their own preferences. We all have a right to have preferences in life, it's what "The Pusuit of Happiness" meant when it was written into the Constitution of the United States. Unfortunately, the ignorance that exists in many parts of the U.S. is staggering....in many different levels; be it religion, politics, and even education. People learn more from little news flashes they see on TV, than from doing their own research on a particular subject.....take, for example, the FOX News channel, with it's flashy news flashes. People hear in the News Flash that a study has discovered that uncircumcised penises have a tendency of exploding during intercourse.......HUH? Oh my GOD, I must remember never to go near an uncircumcised penis!!! DO you understand what I am trying to convey here? If people as a whole would really try to understand the information that is being given to them, they wouldn't be so caught up in ignorance.
Let's see if people understand this.......Almost 95% of all European countries, Asian countries, and South American countries do not commonly or systematically pratice circumcision. If I'm not mistaken, China happens to have the highest population in the world......99% uncircumcised! Any yet no one is dying or dealing with life-threatening diseases because of it......check the statistics.
So.....what we're dealing here is simple preference......the "It looks nicer circumcised" aesthetic factor.......and that's all and good. I can respect that.......but I would appreciate it if people just admitted it, and not use these ridiculous and unsubstantiated claims of health issues.
You see, just like you Taylor, I'm also uncircumcised, and proudly so. It actually has been a great advantage for me to be different than almost 85% of most american men.....It makes me feel unique and proud to be natural, clean, and well-versed in the techniques of how to use it! And just in case you might be thinking I'm from Europe or some other place.....I was born and raised in New York City. Believe me Taylor, I feel what you're asking, because I found myself there when I was younger.....when people were trying to make me believe that I HAD to get circumcised to be accepted and to be like everyone else. Even the sound of that goes against the very foundation of what the U.S. stands for.
So.....never you worry about what people think, there are plenty of intelligent, beautiful, self-confident, and sensual women out there who would love you just the way you are.......Believe me, I'm living the dream Taylor.
Best of Luck!

It's mostly just a cultural belief ever since circumcision was started in America in the 1800s to curb masturbation. Really, it should not be difficult at all to clean a penis. The foreskin slides back easily and you just rub it. Takes 5 seconds. Many people just say things with no experience. The girls I've been with may have been surprised, but they all end up liking it in the end.

Well if you don't shower and clean that area properly then you can get very dirty - infections. But hay its sounds a bit exaggerated. I am sure there are many Americans that are not circumcised. Its no big deal just be happy with what you got.

As long as you wash every day it won't be dirty. Circumcision has been done in the past because people didn't have the ability to shower every day, so they did that for hygienic reasons. Nowadays it's not a problem.

I feel sorry for circumcised, because they don't get as much pleasure as uncut.

To the dude below:
who was talking about masturbation???

you're completely freaking out and overreacting. i wish you're only kidding around. there's a somewhat greater desirable probability of transmtitting particular STDs if having unprotected intercourse, yet you're able to have THE ailment first, and you're able to no longer be having unprotected intercourse with somebody in possibility for STD besides. i think of you're exaggerating the risks considering the fact which you for my section think of that is gross. Why no longer only be straightforward and say you do no longer only like the look? in case you are going to make well-being claims have your data on the instant. playstation : in case you wash your junk heigine isn't a topic.

It is actually harder to clean because there are more places for bacteria and dirt to hide.

That said, I don't think they are dirty. Just . . . . different. I've never experienced one, but I'm intrigued.

Plus, some women are immaturely squeamish about male genitalia . . . as sad as that is considering penii are fun.

It is!!!! It's gross! You have to have it cleaned thoroughly when you bath. You have to push the skin back to clean it and between the crevices. It's a quick way for a woman to get a yeast infection from the guy because he is not cleaning it well and he can get a yeast infection form another woman(no matter how many baths he takes)and give it to the next woman. It's best to be circumcised.
My twins father is not circumcised and he is HUGE and WOW! But I kept an infection when I was with him and it feels sssssssssoooooooo(which is called foreskin) gross to touch. It is so much skin to deal with.I mean a lot of extra skin a uncircumcised man has.He can catch a disease easily.
You can get diseases or infections.Infections like yeast(in which a man does not have symptoms but a woman does)Condoms may sometimes cause a rash or itching.
