I am under the opinion if you are tall and have long arms you can play in the NBA as long as you are not fat or retarted. If you are 7 foot tall and have long arms and are willing to practice maybe one hour a day., you will be a money making star. That is all that is required. Lets look at it another way. Make up a game that midgets would be good at. You know people that are short with short arms. Same difference. If you are not tall, do not waste your time.

Well, I really doubt that asking on Yahoo Answers is going to help, but constant practice might. Do you have a neighborhood hoop where you can go shoot? (like at a local school)

Only use one hand to push the ball, and that hand must be your primary hand. Put ur non primary hand on the side of it just for balance, but don`t let it have too much friction. When you shoot this way, snap your wrist for back spin when shooting.

Keep your hand that you shoot with at a 90 degree angle parallel to the ground keep ball beside your head and only shoot with that hand then use your other hand to hold it in place. when you shoot bend your legs and follow through with a backspin hope that helps

Develop a stroke. I suggest shooting shots from the paint get a consistent stroke then move to the foul line. remember to use your legs and your guide hand. good luck man.
