BREATHE !
THERE IS NOTHING THAT IS GOING TO BE ACCOMPLISHED BY PANICKING, ESPECIALLY THIS LATE AT NIGHT.
NOW, IF YOUR PREGNANT ALREADY, YOU NEED TO CALL THE DOCTOR TOMORROW, THEY WILL WANT TO SEE YOU.
OTHERWISE, HAVE YOU SWITCHED YOUR BIRTH CONTROL LATELY ? CHANGED THE DOSAGE OF YOUR PILL ? THOSE WOULD BE CONTRIBUTING FACTORS IN THIS. USUALLY, WHEN YOU GET PREGNANT, IT MESSES UP YOUR PERIOD BY SHORTENING IT, OF LIGHTENING THE FLOW. IT DOES NOT USUALLY CAUSE YOU TO HAVE MULTIPLE PERIODS IN A MONTH.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT YOU HAVE BECOME PREGNANT IN THE LAST COUPLE WEEKS ? (ASSUMING THAT THE LAST PERIOD YOU HAD TWO WEEKS AGO, WAS NORMAL FOR YOU AND ON SCHEDULE). A MISCARRIAGE, WOULD APPEAR TO BE ANOTHER PERIOD, IF YOU WERE NOT VERY FAR ALONG.
I WOULD CONSULT A PHYSICIAN THIS WEEK, JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING IS NORMAL. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR HORMONES ARE CHANGING ENOUGH THAT YOU BIRTH CONTROL PILL IS NOT AS EFFECTIVE AS IT WAS BEFORE.
GOOD LUCK.

Hi ilyrr,
It's really difficult to diagnose your situation over the internet. You really need to see a physician.
If you're hesitant to go to a dr. - and you don't have symptoms that are unusual like:
1) Clotting
2) Fever
3) Abdominal Pain
you're probably okay. It may be just a fluke.
I can tell you from personal experience, that I have had irregular bleeding in these circumstances:
1) When I was emotionally upset for long periods of time (this can definitely screw your cycle up)
2) When I wasn't feeling well (physical issues can cause your cycle to screw up).
I've also included a link for you that might help answer some of your questions better.

Could be a miscarriage. I thought i was having 2 periods in the same month but that was not so, i went to the er and found out i was pregnant but miscarrying. Take a pregnancy test.
I had my period for the month and it was normal & everything but i started bleeding again 4 days later and bled for 6 days while i was miscarrying and i did not even know i was pregnant.
I was 5 weeks so i would urge you to take a pregnancy test.

Womens hormones can go a little crazy sometimes it is probably nothing to worry about. Are you just spotting or another full blown period?

You should see your gynecologist, are you on birth control? Sometimes you may just have an irregular period this month. Without more information theres nothing else I can tell you.

Sometimes women have 'breakthrough' bleeding for no reason, but you should probably get checked out by the doc. Bleeding for no real reason can be signs of pregnancy and even cysts or cancers. It's probably not cancer, but go get checked out anyway.

How old are you? Women in their 40s and up sometimes do that, but I would still see the doc.
