They all have a filled out electron shell.
They do not want to give up or accept an electron.
This makes them unreactive.

Their differences are their atomic mass and the light emitted when an electron relaxes from an excited state to a lower state.
Neon light tubes are filled with Neon gas. Other noble gases are not suitable for lights.

Noble gases all have no valence electrons and tend not to bond with other elements. They all differ in atomic mass and electronegativity, but so do all elements.

What they have in common is that they are all different from each other. That and their purity is why they are noble.
