there are 1000 milliliters in a liter
(milli is Latin for 1000... a millipede looks like it has 1000 legs, or feet, to be more precise) :-)
so in exactly 64,000 ml there are exactly 64 liters.
but here we have MORE than 64,000 ml, we have 64,205.
well the extra 205 isn't enough to make a whole liter (that would take 1000) so those 205 are just left over,
so the answer is
64,205 ml = 64 liters and 205 milliliters (left over)
hope that helps more! :-)

1000mL=1L
64,205mL/(1000mL)=64.205L or 64L and a remainder of 205mL
