as you may know, Annasophia Robb is doing in the move "bridge to terebithia", and is also recording a song for it. in my opinion, i am dissapointed that she if falling into the singing trend like all the disney stars. she is very young and it really is odd to see her sing at such a young age. she also has a very mediocre voice and their is nothing special about it. but of course, she will probably still get a record deal just because she is famous. just like ll the disney stars who have copied what hilary duff started. i dont hate any disney stars, including annasophia, but it gets a bit old seeing them ALL end up as singers who will have a very small singing career edged on only by the songs they record for movies starring THEMSELVES. what are your thoughts on this?

At this point, it's just annoying. I understand those who get record deals for their great voices, but not the disney stars getting them because they are famous. There have been a few good ones in my opinion, like Ashley Tisdale, but most of them just need to stick to acting. I agree that AnnaSophia has a mediocre voice that is the same as most other Disney actors-turned-singers. If she wanted to try singing, she could do it on a talent show for stars or something, but my ears and those of many are TIRED of these mediocre voices filling the radio stations. Another mediocre voice I know is Keke Palmer. Her new songs for her Disney Channel movie are just too annyoing. Disney pushes their starlets to do stupid things leading to them being forgotten in a few years. For example, Ashley Tisdale was required to dye her hair blonde to get a contract.

I'm on that boat!! I recently thought the same thing after watching the new Cinderella III DVD with my girls....at the very end...it is Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) singing in a video.

Basically this huge feeling of dread hit me....oh goody, another I'm an actress, no wait I'm a singer creation.

She's a cute girl, but....let's just say, singing should just be a hobby for her.

I agree if you star in a disney movie its like ooo here sing this song too. Dont get me wrong Raven Symone who really started it IS a great singer. But most of voice is so common. Everyone dosent have to be a singer. It bugs the heck out out of me to see every one on disney singing.

It's not that she's "Falling into singing" - Disney milks the talent out of all the kids they hire so they can make the most profit per kid possible. The kids (or their parents) just sign the contracts and then work their butts off for ol' Mickey.

agree, but i don't think she's gonna make any silly album, cuz u know it's only for the soundtrack

she's great as an actress, and i don't think she'll find any luck in singing career [though she does have a good voice]

yeah

oh that's cute. She's a cute blonde girl who's also in "Because of Winn Dixie" & "Charlie & the chocolate factory" I think it's cool that she's getting musically inclined as well. But I don't think she will go on American Idle or become a solo artist.

Yes, it is quite odd to see her sing at such a young age.....what is she like 12?

She won't last long.....she cant even sing all that well, but her voice is also still changing.
