Pro-choice.

Edited to add - abortion should remain an option, however it should not be the FIRST option. Contraception should be used, but abortion should remain available because contraception is not infallible.

I suppose I am more pro-choice, but I think abortions are wrong, nonetheless. I think in this day and age, when pregnancy is totally preventable, that anyone would conceive an unwanted child is deplorable. I do realize, however, that a young woman's future can be ruined by having to carry a pregnancy to term when she is unequipped to do so. I also think that the issue should be left for women NOT MEN to decide. Men preach against it, but they don't have to be pregnant, and they don't have to support these babies after they are born. Until the pro-lifers are able to say to these pregnant women, "Have your baby, and we will see that it's taken care of for the rest of it's life" they really shouldn't have a say in the outcome of someone else's pregnancy. It should be ultimately up to the woman carrying the child, and if she can live with having an abortion, let her.

Pro Chioce is not really 100% Pro Choice. Since, the biological father has no choice in it. Even though he should also have a 50% of the vote.Since, the father contributes 50% of the genetic material to his biological offspring.

I could never look my daughter in the eye and tell her she should have to carry a child to term if it were the result of a rape or if chances were that she would not survive the delivery. Since I can't do that, and it is impossible to enforce a law some of the time - I guess that means I have to be pro-choice.

In a related question, how many of the pro-lifers are for the death penalty? If they are, then it is not a question of if but when.

Pro-choice must work hard to protect its position in America. However, Pro-Choice is safe and secure in Communist China. There is no question regarding a woman's access to abortion there.

Unfortunately for the US, the founders of the Constitution didn't imagine the technology of abortion, or the conveniences that the Supreme Court now considers to be unalienable and natural born rights.

It's just weird that this happens at a time when birth control methods and sex education are more widespread than at any time in world history. (I smell a political agenda here, of course.)
