Have a serious talk with your spouse. Maybe he doesn't know you'll be passing up an experience of a lifetime. Don't talk divorce-do talk about your relationship growing and having wonderful memories in your autumn years.
I have lived in other countries. It is both wonderful and horrifying but it is ALWAYS a growth experience. GO! BOTH OF YOU!

sounds like you're reached a point where you're frustrated, and that might not necessarily stem directly from your job. you might just need a vacation, a change of scene, a new hobby, new friends, new clothes... SOME change! don't be so extreme as to want to change your work right away! and if it IS your work that's the issue, then try to change locally, your husband's response is understandable, so try to talk it over with him and see if you both come up with a solution you both agree on. Remeber: there are no problems that don't have an answer. Just keep an open mind and don't make life more complicated than it has to be.

I feel the same way. My problem is I don't have a college degree and I've been working at my current job for 8 years so I feel like nobody will pay me as much money as my current employer.
