when I signed up for comcast internet and cable I just got the basic everything and my plan was first 3 months internet for 19.99 and free cable...then after the 3 months I'd pay regular price for cable. There was no contract so they said I could cancel whenever. My last bill was for 105 dollars and it looked like they charged me 2 different types of cable but of course when I called they tried to trick me to think that's what I signed up for. Someone said it doesnt matter if you pay the bill cuz its not connected to your credit card or SSN and if you don't pay it will just cut it off for the next month. Is that a good idea--they over charged me my neighbors pay like 70 for the same thing I have

If you got 'On Demand', then I would say that is what the second charge is. I have never had a problem with their customer service, if you call they may explain it to you. Just remember that you catch more flies with honey...

You do have to pay it, because they can send a collection agency after you. If they do that, and you still refuse to pay after 90 days, they will send it to the credit agency. This will make it show up on your credit report. Now, say after this time period, you see it on your credit report. Then, you decide to pay it. It will still be on your credit report for 7 years, stating all the steps they took to contact you and how long it took you to pay them back.

Yeah, this is a small debt, but it will still be a little black mark on your record that you don't need. Right?

Have a look at your account summary, you know best what you signed up for. Any plans that are included in your summary and not wanted, cancel them.

Not paying your bill influences your credit report..

Good Luck! :)
