I've been thinking the exact same thing. How about a Miss White USA? Or a National Association for the Advancement of White People (NAAWP) or United White College Fund. I once heard of an "All Gay Men's Choir". Do you think there would ever be an "All Straight Men's Choir"? No way!! I'm not racist either but why is it fair for some but not for others? Complete double standard.

YES! We need to start an organization called the National Association for the Advancement of White People. But then we'd be called a bunch of KKK racists. But the blacks can have their organization and it's fine. Illegal aliens can have their racist "La Raza" American resistance foundation, but if a white speaks out against illegal immigration, he is a racist. We need to embrace our white heritage, and tell our kids to embrace their culture, not try to be black when they are actually white.

Yes there should be a month that is dedicated to white history. It's not fair to have a black history month and not a white history month. I know people say that white history is every month but so is black history. If there was a white history month it would be considered to be racist but having a black history month isn't?

NO.
I don't think reserving a month to focus attention to the fact that Black people played a large part in American History. And that their part in History was deliberately ignored due to RACISM
I am White. I don't want a White History month.
The concept is ludicrous.
I will also give a month to Womens History.
The rest of the months are reserved for math, the environment. science...what have you.
The only things that I have seen to indicate it was Black History month was.....
a. Books concerning Black History displayed at Seattle Public Library..
b. A couple of Programs on PBS.
c. posts asking about White History Month.

We could have White history month, White Entertainment Television (call it W.E.T.), Ivory magazine and we could get jobs and benefits under "Negative Action". Of course that would be called racism.

No. History should be about people who have made an impact on the world, absolutely regardless of race.

How about we stop fixating on how oppressed people used to be (functioning phrase: USED TO BE) and just get on with everyday life? People have the same rights as any other, regardless of their race. Why can't we just acknowledge it in our own way without being told to? Have we truly fallen so low?
