You're a Pats fan, so you want to hear Brady. I can't do it. I go Manning...and here's why.......

Brady does have MORE titles, but now they both are Bowl winners, so that argument is less effective...

I don't think Manning has ever worked with a top tier head coach. Dungy? Mora? With all due respect, neither of those guys even appraoch Bellicheck. The Colts out classed the Pats in EVERY way talent wise in that champ. game, and the Pats still could have won. Because the Pats are a more physical, better coached team.

I think that in a playoff situation, Brady has worked with better defenses that game him better average starting field position. You didn't notice this in reg. season games where the Colts steam roll a team like the Cards, but in the play offs, the Colts defense was not going to do what the Pats D did for you.

Everyone will think I'm insane for this, but, Edge James, post injury (not in 99') was a very blahhh RB. I don't think he was better then what the Pats had. He was a system product of everyone worrying about the pass.

Harrison? Every play off game...against descent CB's...Harrison disappears. The truth is that he just isn't that fast, big, or special. He's a nice route runner who worked perfectly with Manning because Manning leads a reciever better then any QB I've ever seen from 20 out.

In short...I think the argument that Manning had better weapons...isn't really true. Wayne is a VERY nice 2nd WR....i'll give him that. Remember.....Manning made garbage like Stokely look good.

You sure aren't going wrong with either guy....but in my mind....Brady would not be the best QB on every team in the NFL. Manning would be. I think manning could replace Brady in NE....I don't think the reverse is true.

I'm objective....I'm an Eagles fan....I;ve seen both of them gut us.

Tom Brady and here's why:

I guess it was the tenth answer to this question that went on and on about how the weapons that Manning had around him didn't account for much. How do you figure????

Harrison is the 4th all-time receptions leader in the NFL. Now a lot of that is Manning, but the door swings both ways my friends. If manning was throwing to anyone other than the two of the top three receivers this year. It would have been a different story for the Colts. Granted, Manning is a great quarterback...and he definitely makes those two guys better, but that Super Bowl was a joke and him being named MVP was even more of a joke. Manning's passer rating was 10 points less than any other quarterback who had won it previously. It was the story everyone wanted to hear and it was an easy story for everyone to write and listen to.

Brady is a winner. He went in and charged down the field against the Chargers and won that game just like he has done in seasons past to all different teams.

Manning threw just three touchdowns in the playoffs and 7 interceptions and had a 68.1 passer rating. By the way, Grossman had just as many touchdowns and he played one less game.

Everyone needs to realize that Manning is a good quarterback, but he is not one of the greats. Otherwise he would be called Tom Brady who is younger and more accomplished than Manning. Yeah...yeah...yeah Manning won a super bowl, but it sure wasn't pretty. Brady is a winner and he is going to bury Manning with Super Bowl rings and ultimately that is the measure of a great quarterback is leading you team to the big one. Great stats just says you are very good and you are surrounded by great players. When you win 3 out of 4 years with hardly anyone around you to help, what that says is great talent and leadership. Belichick is a great coach, but he isn't in the huddle. Brady is... and he has inspired his teams three times.

All of you who say manning are WRONG. Manning had the number 2 and 4 leading recievers in the NFL which is much easier to pass to in the situations he was in. Not to mention he had dallas clarke a great tight end. Tom Brady has a bunch of nobodys and still has a contending team year in and out. Think of it this way. If you put Peyton Manning on the Patriots you think they would've been as good as they were this year? HELL NO, put Brady on the colts they wouldve swept right through the play-offs no question. Manning won his first super-bowl against a horrible offensive team. Brady has won 3 against 3 great offensive and 2 great defensive teams. He is definetly the best QB in the NFL

Throw out Brady and throw out Peyton. They have the best offensive lines in the game.

Brett Favre is the best today.

Being quarterback isnt about having all the stats. It is about heart, and Brett Favre shows the most of it.

I remember a game, it was 2 & 15. He gets a concussion, comes out 1 play. He comes back in and its 4 & 20 from about the opponents 25. He throws a freakin touchdown pass. Crazy.

Peyton Manning. He is the best QB at that position. Brady is a great leader but Manning is better at their position. Manning runs that offense. Brady gets a play from his coach and runs it. He runs it very well might I add but Manning calls the play at the line because he is so good a reading a defense.

Well we know that it comes down to only two men, Brady or Manning. Like others have said you can't go wrong with either one if them. But as much as I hate to say it, and oh I hate to say it, I'd have to go with Brady, And I personally love Manning. But Brady can make any reciever look good. He's not only good at his position from a technical stand point, he's a hell of a leader. This year was a testing year for him. The Patriots organization basically took away all of his weapons, gave him no name players and he was able to make them look good, as if they were part of the same team for years. I don't think that if Manning had his recievers replaced, like Brady did, that Manning would of been successful this year, or for that matter, I don't think he would of have any type of success at all this year if it wasn't for the team that surrounded him. Unlike Brady you shines, by making those around him shine.

I know it's a broken record but Peyton Manning. Donavan McNabe is the best QB playing today to have NOT won a superbowl.
