Probably i will choose dying slowly. It 'd be a pain in my *** but worth it. Just think of it , those 3 years, would be your best time ever in your life. ( except the pain thing). You know Ur time is little, so you would enjoy ur life. You could do whatever you want, like travel around the world, start to care whoever you want to care, help whoever you want to help, etc.The rests - things that you don't like to do, or people jumps into ur way - just **** them ( figuratively), because - you are gonna die anyway !!
About the pain thing, just try ur best to endure it, and you would get the best time ever !!! Be a great man !!
And if you chose die instantly, u sure that u wouldn't regret ? For me, i would.

Tought decision. I would go with the instantaneous death; I trust that the people I love know that I love them. What tilts me to this choice is that one way or another I'm going to die, and I would rather not know, with absolute certainty the day and time of my death. Could you imagine if you were to die during a certain minute, and you watched the clock tick into that minute, to have to wait the agonizing extra 30 seconds or what have you until you died? it would be agonizing!
This of course being the situation that I HAVE to choose one or the other; I'm not suicidal.

Instantly,No one to watch me suffer and also not having to dwell for 3 years knowing I am ill and dying and feeling less of a person everyday. I am too prideful of a person to be an invalid and a trouble to someone else

I would die now. I have seen too many people die slowly and all of them suffered greatly. No pain meds were great enough to take away all the pain unless it knocked them out and why stay alive to try and sleep through the pain?
Also if I died now, family members would not have to see and remember me in pain and slowly dying and wasting away.

I sound like every body else, but I too would choose three years. There are so many things I'd want to do, but honestly, if my health became so painful and precluded me from doing all those things, then I'd choose a time to give Kevorkian a call.
