It's not that they have difficulty achieving orgasm, it's achieving it during intimacy.

For some strange reason when many women are about to achieve orgasm it feels like they are actually going to pee. That is why women often hold back just before orgasm and for that reason many women don't have orgasms.
Perhaps women should practice mastrabating while in the bath tub or sitting on the toilet. That way they don't need to be afraid. If they do pee, which is unlikely, it won't be a problem.

The main problem is most women have never had one. The fact that female masturbation is a taboo in our culture has caused this problem. If a woman practices she can learn what gets her there. Some can through normal intercourse, some can orgasm through touch on their breasts, but most women achieve orgasm through clitoral stimulation. And some of us are just lucky enough to be able to do all three. More women just need to explore, and learn their bodies, to be able to show their partners what works best.

Physically, women usually need a bit more stimulation than men to achieve an orgasm. The clitoris is the center of physical sexual arousal for most women. However, the clitoris is not located in a place that is particularly likely to be stimulated during vaginal intercourse, and so it is physically very difficult to get adequate stimulation from most intercourse positions unless effort is made to provide that stimulation.
Also women need to masturbate and get to know their own body to know what feels good.

Unlike men, who can spring into action at the drop of a, er.....hat, women need time. The best thing you can do for your partner is not to rush things, and ASK what she likes. If she doesn't yet know, you can make it a joint project to find out. Also, once in awhile, make it ALL about her pleasure. Many women are so conditioned to please their partner, that their needs are often ignored. Sometimes, it's good to be selfish. Others, it's good to be there completely for someone else's enjoyment. Get her to relax, and take it slow. Women's orgasms build in waves, and it takes a bit for those waves to, um.....come together. Whew! Sorry about that......

masturbation does indeed help the woman to know what she likes.
the best thing a guy can do is NOT PRESSURE HER TO ORGASM.
if she feels pressured to climax, she won't concentrate on enjoying things and garuntee she WONT climax.

The guy isn't doing it right. She should let the guy know what she likes, instead of making him think he sucks.
