El gaucho is the place to be!

I sadly have not been there before. But check out www.yelp.com They have plenty of review by regular people for many restaurants in almost every place. Great website to get somewhat of a scoop of a restaurant before going there. As far as I know however, El Gaucho is wonderful food..However, the prices are incredibly high..too the point where I wouldn't say it's worth it..Even if they served the best beef in America..which is PRIME grade...at the prices they charge..you might as well go somewhere that has Japanese KOBE beef steaks..and no restaurant in the world will deny that KOBE beef is the best beef on the planet. I looked at prices at El Gaucho..cheapest bottle of wine $80...most food prices: $60+..not including apppetizes, and deessert etc. Expect to pay $200-300 per couple. For that price go to Herm Farb, or spend a lot less and go to Met Grill for amazing food, service, and experience. El Gaucho is good, but it's over priced and overrated from what i understand. I'll go there eventually, but I have a feeling i'm gonna walk out feeling ripped off.
