You should try joining a gym or using a weight machine at school. Try strengthening your calves and thighs. And for some reason a muscular core makes it easier to run.

I just finished my season of indoor track. I have learned a lot and gotten much better. Definitley make a point of pushing yourself, but not too hard. In your spare time, excersise. Run and make a point of running a little farther each time. This will make you a stronger runner which will help you run faster. Also, remember that good form is everything. Having good form allows you to run much faster and keeps you from getting injuries. Push yourself, and you can accomplish your goals.

Go to the gym and lift weights. Build up your upper-body for it will give you an explosive burst of speed especially off the starting blocks. If you look at Olympic sprinters today, they seem to pack bodybuilder-type muscles that most people find ridiculous. On the contrary, lifting weights develops our fast-twitch muscle fibers, which we utilize in fast running. Of course, the legs and the back should not be left behind in your weight training program. Do this while continuing your basic running drills and you'll be okay.

i have this magazine and it tells you how to get faster.
-if you have a few weeks.
week 1- run about five 100 meter sprints with breaks in between.
week 2-run about five 200 meter sprints with breaks.
week 3-400 meters.
good luck, :]

Plyometrics and Calisthenics and a Good Body Diet should do the trick.
