When you have blood taken it's a very small amount. Even if it looks like alot, it's a small amount. Think of it this way, when people donate blood, 300ml are taken, and you wait 6 weeks before donating again. Usually the most taken for routine blood tests is about 15ml, or maybe 40ml if they are doing blood cultures. So, you see, not much is taken at all.

if you have ever seen people donate blood, they give pints and pints of it at a time. So if ou are worring about running out, dont, they take afew mls to get a chemical assesment of you blood, it is of no great loss to a normal person.
If you are worried they may be just repeating an experiment they just did and you cannot see the point in them needlessly pricking you with a needle, well its likely they did find something un usual in you blood and they want to double check what they have found, or they fluffed up the test- the blood was contaminated with some bi-product left in the test tube (like cleaning fluid or sterilising fluid or something) or they lost the sample, or they tested everything but one thing, that one thing being the entire point of the blood test in the first place and now they gotta repeat the same test all over again cos some amature blood tester didnt read the instructions properly!!
The fact you haven't said why you are being retested so soon after your last blood test leads me to think maybe you dont know why, maybe they didnt tell you and maybe this is because they are trying to hide some balls-up they made!
Either way, they dont earn them white coats for nothing, ask 'em why they're checking the blood so soon, if it hadnt been explained to you (because it should have been!) then ask, they are human too, they do understand curiosity. Equally it could be if many doctors are involved in your care, each thinks the other explained the reasoning to you.

There is no minimum amount of time you must wait between blood tests. The amount they take out for a blood test is very small...a few cc.
I think that you should wait 50 days or 6 weeks between blood donations. They take out one pint which is close to 500 cc...one hundred times what is removed for a blood test.
Your body is making blood all the time. A red blood cell lasts on an average of 90 days.

It's not like giving blood where they might take a pint. A blood test only requires a little which regenerates in a much shorter period. Call where you had the test and ask.

I have had blood drawn from me on a daily basis for 25 days when I was hospitalized. With adequate fluid and food the 3 ounces each day was nothing.

I would imagine no time at all. Blood tests are taken from a vein. There's a continuous flow.

a blood test does not take enough blood to actually make a difference...you could make back to back tests on it.

it all depends on how much blood they took from you on the first test....if it was a couple of tubes..you should not have trouble with another test soon.if you drink plenty of fluids its will regenerate pretty fast...if you are dehydrated and dont drink fluids it will take you longer
