What eactly the chaos theory try to explain?

Chaos theory basically describes the idea that it's impossible to completely accurately predict the future based on scientific principles of an object. For instance, a ball magnet is placed on the end of a pendulum, which swings freely in a space with three other magnets. Chaos theory states that it is impossible to say what the path of the object will be after a couple seconds.

The name "chaos theory" comes from the fact that the systems that the theory describes are apparently disordered, but chaos theory is really about finding the underlying order in apparently random data.

The existence of such equations was discovered about a hundred yeas ago, but was considered a mathematical oddity until computers were used to solve these equation with a high degree of accuracy.
