It depends on what kind of site you would like to make. You can go to geocites.com or geocities.com. Geocities is a yahoo based website builder. Both sites will walk you through the process. Both are free.

The simplest way is to go to http://www.terapad.com and sign up. Its free and you will have your own website up and running in a couple of minutes. No need to understand all the technology or programming language, its as easy to use as Word. You can have web pages, a shop, forums, a phot gallery and even a blog if you want it. You can see what others are doing on the community page : http://www.terapad.com/net Good luck :-)

You can do this for free, and still make it look good.
1. Download the free NVU website editing program at http://www.nvu.com

2. Download a free web template from http://www.oswd.org

Open the template in NVU and edit away!
