I wouldn't recommend dying your cat...but if you are going to anyway, try using powdered green jello dissolved in water. This is easier to wash off than food dye.

well as long as you dont get caught by animal rights umm dont cause your cat any serious harm that takes him to a vet where you get caught by animal rights or umm make his fur fall off sure truthfully i wouldnt recomend it especially if your fond of you fourfooted friend may cause harm with any dye probaly best of looking for a green bow or somesuch less legal trouble and catscratches

I think that would be animal cruelty. Cats lick their fur to groom themselves and the coloring could be harmful to him. Don't do it.
