I would like to contact her/him. I would like to be able to do this at will. Does anyone know how to do this? Are there books that can be read on this subject?

ahh and here is the trick spirits dont respond on command like some trained animal first you have to make yourself receptive to them(cant be afraid or overly skeptical in most cases) and then mostly you have to ask for the guidance and wait you wont find it at all like john edwards or sylvia brown smacking your forhead and bam have an answer(see coldreading) but yes their are many books out there on this subject hastings waldenbooks and other stores carry them just ask but try to stay away from the ones that promise results on command and other such nonsense

It is my belief that you generally have 3 spirit guides , in my case , I have 2 males and a female guide.. I talk to my guides through meditation.. Have a look on line about your own persona , and then you can work out as to what incense and the colour of candle/s is appropriate for your meditation... Hello. I am a solitaire pagan. Some have answered you with looking up shamanism which will be helpful. If you have access to a native reserve or cultural centre, I suggest going there and asking them respectfully, of course, to take you on a 'spirit walk' so that you may discover yourself what your spirit guide is. There are some good books out there, you can start with anything published by llewellyn as they r like a 'nexus' for good published works on several different occult works. You can visit their website: www.llewellyn.com (make sure to spell it correctly) as this is one of my favorites to recommend.
Too bad u weren't closer cuz SOMETIMES i am fortunate to be able to inform the readee of such things as 'spirit guide', past lives, animal lives/animal spirit, etc.
In respect to you contacting at will, start meditating now and LISTEN to your inner voice to help guide you. It will only come with great patience and practise.

I'm not sure but i think you could find websites that teach you how to do it. Buy a book by Sylvia Brown. I'm pretty sure she has books on spirit guides.

Yeah, but I lost her phone number. You might try one of the names of the arch angels cuz that's like sprint or att.Maybe they'll hook you up with someone local. Some people have them but tell them to go away without realizing they're there to help you. Maybe some day you'll be someones spirit guide too.

Like Shamanism? You have to do some really deep meditation. I haven't done this before but I know someone who has.

don't expect direct answers -- they listen to you but often don't answer directly. i don't trust books very often. you can establish better communication with them by talking to them and on occasion they might answer. if you don't get answers right away don't consider it as not working. they have their own schedule which probably looks nothing like yours.
basically just talk to them. that part is easy. it is waiting for the answer that takes patience.
