your credit card?? yes she can... she dido co-sign with you so she has access to your bank accony. your mother does everything for you. she puts a roof over your head. buys your clothes and feeds you. and you cant pay her back a measley 50 dollars? its your fault. she is trying to teach you a lesson.. you will end up paying sooner or later.. then you will learn your lesson and not text so much anymore..

you shoudl pay her back its your fault.. she should just take your texting capability all togehter since you are being once again. so immature abotu things.. you dont deserve to even have a phone she is trying to teach you responsibiliyt.. one day you will need to pay off all of your own bills what are you going to do?? complain to the insurance company that your auto insurance is too much!! lol

she is doign the right thing. pay her back... its only 59 dollars give me a break!C

She is being very nice. She didnt take the phone away from you.

If ou don't want to pay the $50 then give her back the phone. Otherwise, I would just pay up. Especially if you have money laying all over the place. What's $50 to stop hearing abour texts?

seriously, life isn't fair... get over it. You're lucky you actually have a mom who will chop off a few dollars and only make it $50. Wait until mom won't pay the bills and you will have to pay the phone company the whole bill amount. Get over it.

You are being very immature. Is it fair to go over on texts and expect her to pay it? no it's not. You should pay her back the entire amount that you owe her, over $50 or not because thats what a responsible person does. If I were her, and you acted this way, I would disconnect your phone and then you would also owe me a $200 cancel fee.Dont treat your mom like crap.

At least your mother is giving you a chance. I wouldn't Once you went over the limit your phone would be cut off if you were my kid. My daughter didn't get her phone until she had a job and could pay for her plan. Text messaging costs almost 5 times as much as regular phone calls on some plans. Quit your whinning about being "fair" life isn't fair and you owe you mother MORE than $50.00

You earned the charges so you should pay for them. Remember she can just have the phone turned off if she wants, having a phone and being able to text is a privilege. If you can't afford it, offer chores as payment and cut down on your texting.

I'm sorry, not to be rude or anything, but you sound like a spoiled brat. Why don't you pay your mom back? You should be lucky that you even have a cell phone! I don't have one and I am 13! So just be grateful for what you have!

well, either pay her or accept the consequences of possibly having your phone cut off completely, which is what I would do if you were my child...She is not asking too much...The phone is not a necessity, so be thankful you have one and be glad to help mom out, since you r the one doing the texting...

Um. this is why we don't have a third phone on our family plan even though she "really wants a cell phone!" and I hear about it almost daily. Not necessary. And we don't have text messaging either.
