Sometimes an eyelash or dirt falls in my eye...and i don't bother taking it out and it goes away on its own somewhere...where does it go?

if that happens we used to have a wet eyes to put off the dirt. maybe it just flows out with the tears made by it.

big things like eyelashes can work themselves out when we blink. Smaller stuff like dirt... Tears bring them out if your eyes water, and you know the white gooey stuff at the corner of your eye in the morning? It's kind of like with clams..or is it oysters.. pearls are pieces of sand, coated in the oysters.. natural substance so that it is big enough to eventually expell, or get rid of. This is the same thing. Our eyes produce "goo" to trap the dust and other tiny irritants in our eyes, and then the pieces of goo are large enough to get out.

It washes away with your tears or when your wash your face.
