do a lot of people classify goths emo?

yeah i admit at first they really seem alike, because of the clothing and all, but then its always something else between the both of them
either way we are all goths and emo sometimes at one point in our life

goth are dark munster loving kids.
Emos are the ones crying out for help.

But, I guess the same could be said for both..
