If you haven't heard the news yet, Daniel Radcliffe, star of the famous Harry Potter movies will be staring in a stag production of a play called "Equus." The play is about a young stabel-hand (played by Radcliffe) who has an erotic obsetion with horses. During a scene in the play Radcliffe will be completely nude. He has already had nude shots of him taken for play publistity. Many parents and Harry Potter fans have been outragged and demand that the scene be taken out of the play, or that another actor take the role.
Personally I think people are making a big deal out of nothing. If he wants to parade around stag in his birth day suit then he can go right on ahead and do it.

I have no problem with it what so ever. I read the play in high school for a project in Sociology. there is no way that they could pull the scene from the play, its pivotal to the complexity and anguish of the character. People are making a huge deal out of nothing. Crying outrage over "Harry Potter" in the nude...News flash people, Harry Potter is a character, not a person or an actor. Daniel Radcliffe is. Peoples children might idolize Harry Potter, but he is a character. Obviously Equus has very mature themes, so people should be smart enough to know better then to take their children to it, or allow their children to view content pertaining to it. I think it was summed up by this 13 year old that wrote into Larry King Live perfectly. "Harry Potter is not real. We can imagine that it's real, wish it could be, but it's fantasy. Daniel Radcliffe might bring him to life, but that's not who he is. He's an actor, allowed to act in more then Harry Potter films"

What he wants is to do different things. The kid is 17 or 18 years old (don't quote me cause I don't know) let him do what he wants.
Everybody gets naked. This is a piece of art that just so happens to feature nudity.
If he were starring in porno or posing naked with children or something crude like that then I could understand why people would be upset.
But It is art. You don't see Radcliffe's penis every time you google him and you won't see it unless you buy tickets to the show. Live and let live.

He is an actor and he's playing a character like Harry Potter. Actors play different characters, and if he fits the role then that's a good thing.

Radcliffe can do whatever he wants with his body and I don't think that anyone should worry about it. Plus he is from a different county.

Well, I'm a Harry Potter fan and I find it a little disappointing. I expected more, but whatever. He can make his own decisions, and if he wants to do that, then he can go right ahead.

He is british... He can do whatever he wants... lol
It doesnt affect my reactions to the Harry Potter sequels... When you see Leo die in Titanic... you see him in other movies, you dont think... hey he died already, he cant be used in another movie... lol
I think he is just another actor that plays his roles really well...
