Promblems in Genetic Plz read additional info for the question?

Question

Dough can taste PTC paper but his mother could not. Doug married Ludmilla who bears him two children, only one of whom can taste the PTC paper. What must be Ludmilla's genotype? Explain

NOTE: This is not homework, im studying for a quiz and have stumbled across this promblem.

ok, not totally sure but here's my thoughts:

the mother of doug could not taste so her genotype is "tt"
doug can taste so he has to have a "T" but his mother can pass on only "t" so doug is Tt. now we are talking about dougs kids one can taste and one cannot. so the mother must be able to passthe recessive trait so she has to have at least one"t". but it doesn't tell us if she is definately "Tt" or "tt". she could be either with this data we have. if she can taste then no question she has to be a "Tt". but if we don't know this it can be either Tt or tt.
