My mom. But I guess alot of people would say that. I choose my mom because she raised me by heself with no help from no one. She overcame a drug plm and has been 15 years sober. She put herself thru college and graduated. She has taught me all the important morals.. a true heart, doesnt lie, treats others as you would want to be treated and doesnt judge admit ur mistakes and try ur best not to repeat them.

Ann Frank. I read her diary when I was a young teenager
totally obsessed with my hair, popularity, what kind of
car I wanted when I turned 16, etc. It was the first time
I really involved myself in another's plight....and saw the
world outside myself and my country. It planted the seeds
of real compassion inside of me and inspired me to not
only see Amsterdam and the place she lived during her
ordeal, but all of Europe and the world to understand the
cultural differences between people and get a perspective
on my own life. That little diary changed me forever and
has had the same effect on everyone I know.

My mom.

My dad had a drunken tantrum at dinner when I was five years old. He grabbed his end of the dining room table and lifted it, dumping all the contents onto the floor and my baby sister (in high chair) back against the window. We were both physically okay but freaking.

Why did he do this? The peas were cold.

Mom had no job and no driver's license and it didn't matter. My dad was out of there. Done, toast, finished.

If she hadn't had the stones to do that, I have no idea where I'd be. Probably dead.

My parents.

When you look at the changing dynamics today, it is those values that your parents, and especially the community they exposed you to that define your values.

As you grow older you have a point of reference, without which you are baseless!

Hope that helps.

I believe that each person's life is influenced by many people, some more obviously than others. it is the unique combination of our genetics and our experiences that makes us who we are.

As much as I hate to admit it, it was my ex-boyfriend. After three and a half years of telling me he would marry me, he broke up with me. I was devastated. But he made me realize that I'd forgotten who I was. Thanks to him, I realize that I had completely changed. Of course, I changed partially because he couldn't accept me for who I was.

But I'm glad it ended because I'm a much happier and healthier person for it.
