Im hoping for both! but i don't think neither is gonna happen! i LOVE kobe as a player but many voters hate him it looks like Dirk is gonna win it i don't think they'd give it to Nash again eventhough he is deserving! Kobe deserved it last year he also deserves it this year if he can get the Lakers to the 4th spot in the west. Kobe wont fade away and that's wishful thinking on behalf of the kobe haters! He got All star MVP not because he took more shots but because he made the most! EVERYONE was throwing up shots and only Kobe made the most outside of the inside players like stoudamire and marion. Kobe should be the MVP but wont get it! lakers wont make it to the finals because i believe that there are better teams out there! BUT if they for some reason make it to the Finals i would LOVE to see them face shaq and wade in there! It would be soo sweet to see Kobe get Finals MVP and the ring against Shaq!

The next MVP for Kobe will probably for the season hopefully next season. This year that trophy goes to Nash or Dirk. A finals MVP is not far away.

A season MVP is a possibility. For towing his rag-tag Lakers to a respectable record and an almost certain playoff stint, he is a strong candidate for MVP honors. Finals MVP? The Lakers will make the playoffs but not the finals. And they won't be there 'til they get another Shaq or some high quality players to compliment KB24.

Kobe has a better chance winning a season MVP because him and Lamar Odom are the only good players on their team no championships any time soon

I honestly dont think the lakers are good enough to make it to the nba finals. they cant beat teams like the spurs, mavs, and the suns in 7 game series. and the way that this season is going the mvp is going to steve nash again. if kobe really wants the mvp he needs to shoot the ball more and hope steve nash slows down, cause right now steve nash is the man to beat

Kobe will get both plus the lakers are going to get j Kidd look at this lineup Jason Kidd at the 1 Kobe at the 2 Luke Walton at the 3 Lamar Odom at the 4 and Andrew bynum at the 5 watch out for the lakers they are going to be a force to be wreckin with im tell in you

It appears that will be Kobe's only award for the year. There's no way he win league MVP and teh Lakers don't go pass round two in the playoffs.

most likely a season MVP, but both would be possible if lakes get healthy or if bynum develops into a beast in the paint, but tats prolly not gonna happen this season, so season MVP prolly
