No, I might suggest the spell checker. Sometimes I forget English is not the first language of many users on this site, and have gotten more relaxed as a consequence. This is the World Wide Web.

Not for spelling. I only do thumbs for really good or really bad answers. Most of them I don't rate.

no, i only give thumbs down if someone writes anything rude that may offend someone... or if the answer doesn't go with the question asked..or if i dont agree with that answer...or if the answer just doesnt make sence and sounds compleatly dumb

Not as long as it was comprehensible. If it wasn't comprehensible, I wouldn't know if it was a good answer or not.
I'd rather good spelling and grammar, though :)
