Kobe shoots a lower % but not by much because he is more of a jump shooter but Jordan shot below 50% before.

And if you watch every game you'd notice he shoots a lot of 3's. The reason his % is lower is because he shoots like 100 more then Jordan a season.

Jordan is the greatest Player of all time... he proved all his critics wrong and led the Bulls to six nba-finals
I am a Laker fan... Kobe is not a ball hog.. look at that the stats he averaged 6 assists in 04 and 7 in 05. lets not talk about before shaq left.
Kobe is only critized for the amount of shot he takes... dont blame him for taking what the defense gives him... it doesn't matter he shoots 47% which is better than over half the league.
Whether you want to admit it or not... Kobe may not be the next Jordan but he is the closet NBA player to Jordan's caliber

half of these guys kissin jordans *** wont even be old enough to remember how good he was. i still think he is a little better than kobe defecivly (on a concistant basis) but you hear so many 15YO kids talking about 'oh no way kobe isnt half as good as jordan' and all they know about his game is his 'mixes' on youtube.
ANYWAY BACK TO YOUR QUESTION
yes i remember, and i remember when he retired everyone jumping on the bandwaggon to say he is the G.O.A.T (and he may well be). Another thing i remember is people were still sayin this after he won like his 3rd or 4th title, so what is it going to take to stop the 'kobe-hatin'....god knows.

AND WHAT THE FUC K IS 'mixyp' TALKIN ABOUT KOBE IS A 2 GUARD (sg) ASWELL. if you are retarded please dont answer this ****.

Don't you dare compare Kobe to Jordan!

Jordan was in a league of his own!

Kobe IS a Ball Hog!

Who are "they"? The media who are simply looking for something to write about calling Grant Hill/Carter etc. the next Jordan? Or, the fanswho simply look for something to cheer/whine about (Remember the chants of "Overrrrated" for Chris Paul). Ask Phil Jackson who called Jordan the most driven/ focused and one of the most team oriented players he has ever coached. Conversely, his comments for Bryant have been cocky, selfish and ....almost uncoachable. You pick.

u gotta remember tat Jordan was a shooting guard, which means hes supposed to get alot of shots off if the star on ur team is a shooting guard, on top of that Micheal averaged like 23 shots per game for his career and fg% was 49. volume shooter like him, tats an awesome stat. critics are wat they are, critics. they wont stop criticizing. look at areanas high skool coach who said tat gil wudnt play a minute of NCAA ball. boy was he WRONG.

yeah i remember that, but MJ prove 'em all wrong, when they said that he was a ballhog MJ was the all time assist leader for the bulls, when they said that MJ couldn't play defense he won the defensive player of the year and they said that he couldn't win a ring MJ gave 'em 6.... now you know what's the difference of MJ to kobe so stop comparing kobe to MJ that'll never happen!

Err... no. Jordan's career stats have him at under 50% (.497) - which is still better than Bryant's 46.8 (this year).
