I would say if you are interested in shopping or food, you can literally shop and eat till you drop in KL. There are shopping malls like KLCC ( on the expensive side ), Mid-Valley or the newer 1-Utama which houses everything. There is also Low Yat plaza which has cheap electronic goods and all the latest gadgets/pc accessories. Of course there are some sights to visit and it is best to find a local to show you around if you wish to avoid the pickpockets and the rip offs by taxi drivers though this does not happen all the time! Just enjoy the heat and the friendliness!

KL?..you only need 3 days/2 nights in Kuala Lumpur...Not much to see.Unless you want to see KLCC twin tower , its aquarium, some museums ,chinatown, little india, zoo ,some shopping malls.
I suggest to have more quality holidays in Penang island or Langkawi island or better still Phuket island which is in Thailand.
If youre coming to malaysia, i wishes you Selamat datang in advance and beware of snatch thieves, taxi drivers who dont use the meters.

I totally agree with Passo. I had experienced robbery in Kuala Lumpur first hand. They took my cash, credit card and passport away and guess what local police didn't bothered help me at all. It was the most difficult time in my life especially when you're in a foreign land. The only thing I don't agree with him is that they were Malaysians, not Indonesians who robbed me.

I am Canadian and I approve this message.

These are my opinions..
1.KLCC is a must go in KL or else..you've just wasted your time,
shop there and go to Aquaria to see fishes,i don't know if snakes are still there or not
2.Go to Eye on Malaysia, and maybe walk around the Titiwangsa Lake near there?
3.The KL Tower, you can go and take pictures if you want.
4.Chow Kit Road..lots of stuff to buy there, cheap.
5.Some shopping malls like 1 Utama,Mid Valley Megamall and you can also go to The Curve.

that's all I got..for now

1. KLCC, Suria KLCC, Aquaria, KLCC Convention Centre
2. Starwalk
3. Chow Kit Road, Petaling Street (only bargain if u really wanna buy it)

oh and this is my fav place: One Utama. it's not relli in KL. but it's this huge shopping mall wif everything in it. and there's a mini rainforest in it too. with those pretty fishes. and a big bridge. which connects to the rooftop platform, where u can see...uhh...traffic jam in the highways in a very hot afternoon. typical malaysia lol =)

How many days you will be staying... if just a few days, then browse around bukit bintang plaza is nice, for nice n cheap woman accesories, and plaza low yat for IT gadgets, If you like some clothing items like batik or nice materials stuff for yr ladies, take a trips to jalan tunku abd rahman, theres a row of small shop selling lots of blouse, scarf and batik.
If you like to taste some good food, or something for yr tummy try to go there on saturday nite. Theres nite market selling lots of stuff, foods, clothing, things for home and souvenirs too.
If you like to watch or see a few of malaysian, take a day trip to karyaneka and central market. If you like to taste some malaysian fruits just walk in to chowkit road, choose n ask what kinda fruits you see n taste it. Usually they will give you free taste.
Dnt worry about photos, juz bring along yr notebook to download all the photos taken. Thats what i always does if travelling.

Nothing interesting. Beware of day light robbery - don't carry hand bag while walking along the road, don't be alone in the night ..... You get the Africians and Indonesians terrorising the the street of the capital.....
If these are the things you like to experience go ahead!!!!
