the difficulty is that in case you communicate approximately it, and you're saying some thing in communicate that somebody unearths offensive you're crucified for it. you is purely no longer waiting to have a verbal substitute approximately racism out interior the open considering you need to be brutely truthful and face the difficulty, and while human beings say what they think of or sense, they get in difficulty. i think of the sole thank you to do it relatively is in a communicate board the place each physique isn't pointed out, screened yet no longer pointed out. Minorities have no difficulty saying racist issues approximately whites, through fact no person will relatively combat it, yet then you definately get this sense of each physique piling on you and you commence getting offended through fact they no longer allowed to vent. I agree, i think of it might remedy alot of issues if shall we be truthful approximately it and not placed one team down or the different for being greater this or that. There are 2 facets to each thing. Edit: What I meant to assert is monorities look greater in a position and comfortable expressing what the texture is prejudice or how they have been indignant, maximum many times this places white human beings able to protection. So it relatively is tricky to have a real communicate in line with this. i'd decide to appreciate how many times racism is mentioned between minorities in daily existence, is it some thing it relatively is all eating?

I am a white women, and sometimes, I wish I was black. I would want to be neicy nash from Reno 911 and Clean House. She has a GREAT attitude and I would just like to be her. It has nothing to do with skin color for me at all.

If all people could see people as they are and not face value, things would dramatically improve. Unfortunately, society puts the face on what we should like, twiggy, moss, and look how they picked on tyra banks when she gained a little weight. Society did that, ooh that's not good, she gained 15 lbs, slap her skinny I guess is what they think. It's all about looks and nothing at all how people are.

You know, since all this terrorism is going around and people getting killed by teenagers in malls, should we really be setting such a negative example for the future?

To name one thing positive about a different race/ethnicity is to further the division between us. To name what basically comes down to a stereotype, whether positive or negative, is to view a person only as deep as their skin color, instead of seeing them as a human. If I say black people have great rythm and musical talent, you celebrate me as an open minded person. If I say black people are predisposed to violence and crime, you call me a racist. What you don't see, is that both are exactly the same, both attempt to classify an entire group, although you let one slide because it is perceived as positive, while the other one is a negative and illicits your ire. They are both wrong. I refuse to take part in your little game, but those chinese can sure do math really well.

I love too much about other cultures to even begin a list. The food, the way their languages sound when spoken fluently, etc. I love learning from them, also.

nice effort CJ but giving a pat on the head to that cute little ethnicity is just as belittling as insulting someone based on race, culture, and creed.

gee, those blacks sure can dance.

wow, i like me some of those mexican tacos.

um......very very limited.

how about...appreciating others for who they are, and if you really dig their family roots and cultural traditions, it's all part of the package.

I love the SPANISH culture. You know, the one whose language and some of their food was adopted by the Latinos that's mistaken as theirs?
