I always wanted Barbies, but my hippie parents got me "The Sunshine Family" instead. Their house was even stupid looking. I was really young, but remember making them have sex.
I wanted pretty pastel pink and pastel blue tights like my neighbor friend had, but my mom bought me gold, dark green, and navy ones. I might be able to go on and on about what I wanted and didn't get.
I think I need a therapist.............
(I am glad now, somehow, that I didn't get Barbies. They are stupid. Someone bought one for my daughter when she was 1. Duh...)

I wanted The Great Garloo, a semi-remote controlled Green Monster that could walk, and then bend at the waist and pick items up in his sponge-padded hands. I thought it was extremely cool, but my dad thought it would be likely to break easily, and was too expensive. I was given a Mr. Machine instead, which, although saisfying and well-made, wasn't a monster. I liked monsters.
Never got The Great Garloo---they only were produced for one year then discontinued. On ebay, they're rare and even more too expensive!
