Most of these answers are assuming the property has already been foreclosed upon... and they are good answers.
However, if you are asking about the actual foreclosure sale (what we do for a living), then your truest and most accurate source will be the "legal organ" of your County's seat. So search those terms: Your County and "Legal Organ." to get the name of your County's publication (hint: many are on-line). From there, look at the legal notices and then foreclosures/tax sales. Beware, foreclosures are VERY different from tax sales!
Best of luck.

You might also check with the local banks. They sometime come into possession of foreclosed property and are usually more than willing to work with you to get rid of it since they don't want to have to pay the property tax on something that isn't bringing them any money.

From a licensed realtor with access to MLS, call them, tell them what you are looking for, price range, area, size home and how soon you are ready to move forward
