depends where you live.
in the states? pretty bad unless you're rich but they have great doctors and hospitals
in canada or england? excellent facilities, everyone is entitled to medical care free of charge but some waiting lists are long...
you decide.

Hello:
I hope that I don't sound catty by answering your question, but here is my opinion on our health care system here in the USA!! I used to have health insurance including dental, and vision coverage UNTIL our company really skyrocketed the prices on our co-pays and our coverage costs,so I have been without health insurance for going on 11 years. I have to pay for EVERYTHING up front and if I can't afford to pay the whole amount when I go to the doctor, the lady behind the desk at the doctor's office gets nasty with me and tells me in a very loud voice that I,"Need to pay THE WHOLE AMOUNT,"screaming this loud enough for ALL of the other patients to hear it! Do you know how I have resolved this problem? When I am able to,I do pay off my medical bills that I owe,but when I go to the doctor's,I give them what I CAN AFFORD,whether they like it or not! Now please don't think that I am trying to sound catty or anything, but as a patient without health insurance coverage, you feel like you are dirt when the secretaries behind the doctors office desk glares at you and says in a very loud voice,"Oh,I see you HAVE NO HEALTH INSURANCE,YOU ARE SELF-PAY!"
My point is that in the USA the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer! I have had friends who have lost their homes or have gone without food,so they or their children can go to the doctor and get the medical treatment and prescriptions that they desperately need! Alot of our senior citizens are having to choose between paying for groceries,or getting the medications that they desperately need!
Our country should offer UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE COVERAGE FOR EVERYONE!! The only exception to that would be if a person or persons made a six figure income than obviously they could pay for their own healthcare because they are rich and can afford it! I have friends who work full-time like I do and they are just barely making it on two incomes! They are not buying anything fancy or expensive, just the cost of groceries alone just abouts depletes their whole budget because they have two kids and they buy the cheapest stuff that they can find at the grocery stores! The only way that I can ever see this health care crisis getting resolved is if we get a president into office who wants to do something about the diabetes, obesity, and cancer epidemic!!
