Cloning can mean the creation of a complete individual which are exact duplicates of another. In animals this can allow breeders to extend the productive life of valuable stock. This is not a fool proof process. Many clones have exhibited traits that are not beneficial.
Animal cloning is also a way to genetically engineer individuals with new traits such as the production of antibiotics or other chemicals. As long as this is done with strict controls to avoid contamination of the general population I think it should continue.
Cloning people's pets will probably lead to disappointment. The clone of Fifi may look like Fifi there is no guarantee that it will have the same personality.
All of the reasons why animal cloners should proceed with care are reason why humans should not be cloned. While it might make sense to keep a strain of cattle going by cloning a prize bull, how do you make that decision with humans. What do you do with the mistakes. If the clone doesn't live up to expectations what happens to him/her. If worse, he/she is defective how do we care for him/her.
As with pets, human cloning is not a path to immortality. A man's clone will not have his memories or personality.
On the other hand the science that surrounds cloning may allow us to grow individual organs from a few cells. This may lead to transplants with no rejection problems.
But finally do we really need more humans then we are getting by the old fashioned method? The world is overpopulated as it is. By the same token, extending life through cloned transplants will also worsen the population problem.

No... for many many reasons. And since you don't want to hear the religious view on it.. I'll keep that part to myself. As that is the foremost reason why. But on the scientific side.. No .. because there was so many mistakes. Just think of how much cloning is done that are mistakes then destroyed. Or placed out on display. They say that have feelings well what if they didn't get it right over and over and over again. What happens then.. hmmm now that is the question.

so a great way, I even have heard lots of folk asserting that cloning will bring about ... disaster, yet they're by no potential particular. i'm relating cloning of human beings, no longer animals. If we won't be able to look after articulately why cloning of human beings is undesirable, I doubt you gets lots clever on animals. specific, i think of we would desire to continuously clone as accurately to understand extra approximately mom nature and attach human illnesses. there could be destiny activities that selection my innovations - or maybe somebody will say relatively why cloning human beings is undesirable. BTW, like various procreative habit, there are techniques that cloning could be abused. generating 2000000 copies of a similar individual will disappointed the gene pool. generating lots of folk without infant care will advise that there are a number of human beings being reported in merciless situations. besides the undeniable fact that, if i desperate to clone myself, assuming that I presented due look after my clone, what precisely is immoral approximately it? I agree there is the aptitude - yet till somebody can easily fill in examples that are no longer abusing another ethical subject (like springing up toddlers without infant care), i've got self belief we would desire to continuously understand each and every thing we are able to bearing directly to the techniques of ailment and how we are able to alleviate them.

For me, human cloning should not be allowed. Humans are different from other animals. We preserve animals because they are close to extinction, and in order not to loose those animals, cloning would be an option. For humans, though we are considered animals too, are very opposite to other low-level animals. If other low-level species are close to extinction, the humans are close to over population. Therefore human cloning makes the problem worse.

Animal cloning should be allowed in certain countries. In america we don't need to in other less wealthy countryies it should. If we sent a cloning mechine to africa it would cure world hunger.
