I aks that, from personal exprience. I met Morrocan students when I was studying at a university in Europe. The guys, especially acted snobish and wnated to pass themselves as Spanish or Italians. They are always nicer and after the white European girls.!!

I don't know about "most." That's a broad generalization. I work next door to a Moroccan, and when we met, he told me that he was Moroccan. I know that it's in Africa, no big deal. But, interestingly, we had a faculty meeting several days later, and the group(majority Caucasian) asked where he was from. He said that he was Moroccan, and they really didn't seem satisfied. So he clarified, "Spanish Moroccan," and everyone nodded their heads as if THAT was acceptable. Maybe it's because they want to be accepted.

That's strange. I have a Moroccan doctor who informed me that he was more African than I was that said, not all Moroccans refuse the fact that they are indeed Africans.

This is not my experiece at all! I must share my experiences with all here.
I have many friends whom are of beautiful pink rose color. I call them my desert roses! You see they are from Morocco! I asked where are you from and NOT ONCE! has any of them said Morocco only when to explain that they were of me! They all response Africa! I say "what"! where in Africa and ONLY then they say Morocco and I am at awed by there beauty the dark hair and near black eyes and the rose of their skin & the love of what and whom they are also where they are from. You know they also love me, They say Salam my sister! I am African as you are!
This is of great news to me really! And would fight if you call them white or anything else.

well the ones that i have met refuse to call themselves arab, so does liberia and algeria.
