When I was in school a teacher showed us a movie. It was about a mother who was mentally unstable beat her kids (at least I think so) and the kids were taken away. The mom went to live in a mental hospital and the kids in foster care. The last scene of the movie is the kids looking at where there mom lived and they were standing in front of a corn field. Can't contact the teacher to ask and it was late 80's early 90's

ya most movies they show in school, you wont really be able to find in mass production.
the school probably got a hold of it from a company that donated it, or the movie was specifically made to show in schools.
but sounds like good watching for a bunch of kids, lol.
