I used to like this girl alot when I was a freshman, and uhmmm whenever she looked at me I would freeze(paralyze) really, and/or I would trip, she made me really nervous, I still like her, but I'm dating someone right now, who doesn't make me nervous, someone I'm not attracted to, yeah I know I'm an idiot.

Yeah, totally. Always afraid I'll say something stupid. But I decided that you might look worse by saying nothing at all (could come off as some kind of clutzy weirdo). Shy is okay to a point, but a little confidence can take you a long way. It seems like you're dating this other chick just so you can be with someone. That's not a good reason to keep the relationship going. It's not fair to her or you, unless she is just biding her time as well. In which case it's okay, why not hang out with someone while you're both waiting for something better to come along? As long as both of you know it. It's a great way to keep from being lonely. I prefer to hang out with a lot of different guys right now because each one has something different to offer. Haven't met one that I REALLY like (if I did I wouldn't be able to talk to him anyway, too nervous!!!) But it's okay, we're all on the same page. So try to work up the nerve to talk to this girl, gotta see if there's any chance in hell that she's into you too. In the meantime keep seeing this other girl, no reason to stop seeing her unless your crush gives you one. Good Luck!!! :-)

you just have to talk to her just go up to her with a clear mind and think of her as some one you know. I had the same problem with this hot blond I swear I will never get another girl like that again. High school is the best for finding good looking girls. I didn't get into a relation ship but at least I got a good night of sex after the fourth date.

I only get nervous when the guy knows that I like him.
Like me and this guy have never officially dated but we've been flirting so heavily for the past two years and he says he likes me and i say i like him but he doesn't want to go out and so i avoid him in the hall because now I just feel so awkward around him now that my feelings are all out there!

I don't think you're an idiot. I married a man I wasn't drooling over too, like your freeze-girl. And, I'm glad. I can be myself with him and it's wonderful. When women are attracted to a man, they have a tendency to stick there chests out... Sometimes I catch myself doing it and I get all 'where's my rock so I can bury my head'...

i think u have more real feelings for the other girl. and if you're comfortable wit your girl, then that usually means there's not alot of "spark".
i'm a girl. i get hella nervous around the boys i like =/

I only had one guy in my whole life that I would actually get tongue-tied trying to talk to him!! I could be around any number of gorgeous guys that I liked and be okay but there was just something about this guy that got me all flustered!!

when i like a guy i do get nervous around them. but then there are some guys that i like and i totally feel natural around them and like there is nothing in the world that can bother me. it depends if they are friends with you like ohkay friends like a hi and bye in the hall way or like an hour conversation that is when i feel normal around them. but if i barely talk to them then i get relle nervous. so it depends on who it is to me at least.
